Weight Loss Excercise Programs:

Hot Yoga:

In a sauna or steam room do squats, knee lifts, planks, stretches, etc, if u don't have a sauna or steam room let the shower run hot water in your bathroom with the door closed for 10 minutes before entering.

This creates a nice homemade steam room, if u really want a good workout u can skip rope or do steps in the steam room, remember to bring a bottle of water with u and not over do it, i like to bring in a bottle of cold water and when the water becomes warm i know its time to stop.

Rowing Machine:

Builds upper body strength and targets the usual problem areas, stomach/mid section, do it 20-30 minutes at maximum comfortable resistance, will burn app 300 calories.

Treadmill:

Running/jogging is the most effective way to lose weight, long distances at average speed, when was the last time u saw a fat marathon runner ?, try to keep 4-5 mph pace for 20-30 minutes.

Walking:

Invest $20 into a Fitness Pedometer and try to walk 5-10 miles per day, especially after your last meal and before u go to bed try to get in 2 miles, this will be very beneficial to your overall health.

Stationary Bike:

Is good if u have knee problems or if u are extremely overweight and running on the treadmill puts too much pressure on your joints, ride for 30 minutes at comfortable resistance or select a program from the bike.

Heavy Bag:

Punching and kicking the heavy bag will give u a complete body workout if u have room for one in your home.

Aerobics:

A couple popular programs are Insanity and P90X, either one will definitely help u lose weight and make u feel better about yourself, i prefer Insanity because it requires less room and u don't need any additional equipment.

Weight Lifting:

Lifting weights will build muscle while burning fat at the same time, u don't need to worry about bulking up or putting on muscle mass unless u plan on doing a lot of weight lifting.
